Transparent charter bus pricing guidance

Korea Charter Bus Rates and Payment Guide

Charter bus prices in South Korea depend on the vehicle, complete itinerary, operating time, luggage and additional expenses. This page explains common reference rates and the items that must be confirmed in a written quotation.

Why charter bus prices cannot be calculated from passengers alone

A group of the same size may require a different vehicle because of luggage, comfort level, road access or service purpose. Operating time and route can also change the price substantially.

The final price is confirmed only after the complete date, pickup time, stops, destination, finish time, passengers and luggage are reviewed.

Reference rates are not automatic final quotes

Season, weekends, major events, vehicle supply, early-morning operation and regional conditions may change availability and price.

General reference rates

The following figures are broad planning references for common cash-price cases. They are not guaranteed for every date or itinerary.

Airport transfer pricing

Airport transfer rates depend on the terminal, destination, vehicle, luggage and expected operating time.

  • A simple Incheon Airport to Seoul transfer is different from airport pickup followed by sightseeing or waiting.
  • Large luggage volume may require a larger passenger vehicle or a separate luggage vehicle.
  • Early-morning, late-night, extended waiting and long-distance destinations can increase the price.
  • Parking and airport access costs may be included or charged according to the written quotation.

Seoul daily charter service

Many Seoul-area quotations use a 10-hour reference, but the actual included time must be written in the quotation.

  • Operating time includes pickup, driving, waiting, transfers and return service.
  • The clock is not based only on the time passengers are seated in the vehicle.
  • Very early pickup may create an early-morning surcharge.
  • Additional time after the agreed finish may be charged by the hour.

Regional and multi-day pricing

Long-distance and multi-day service includes costs that do not apply to simple Seoul transportation.

  • Total distance, highway tolls and regional parking
  • Driver meals and overnight accommodation
  • Driver rest, additional driver requirements and repositioning
  • Daily start and finish city, not only the destinations visited

Common additional charges

The quotation should clearly state whether these items are included or settled separately.

Overtime

Charged when the agreed operating hours or itinerary are exceeded. Rates vary by vehicle.

Parking

Paid parking at hotels, attractions, convention centers and airports may be charged at actual cost.

Tolls

Highway and bridge tolls may be included or added according to the route.

Driver meals

A common planning reference is KRW 20,000 per driver meal day, but the quotation controls.

Driver accommodation

Required for overnight regional operation when the driver cannot reasonably return to base.

Additional vehicle

A luggage van, support van or extra coach may be required when passengers and equipment exceed practical capacity.

Deposit and balance payment

Payment conditions vary by reservation size, service date and client requirements.

Deposit

A deposit is normally required before vehicle allocation is confirmed. Common cases use 10–30% or a fixed amount per vehicle and service day.

Balance to driver

Some reservations allow the remaining balance to be paid directly to the driver in Korean won cash, according to the written agreement.

Bank transfer

Domestic Korean won transfer and international wire transfer may be available using the account stated in the invoice.

Card or PayPal

Card or PayPal payment may be available through the payment page, with VAT and payment-processing fees.

Written confirmation

A quotation is not a confirmed reservation until the required deposit and written confirmation are completed.

VAT and payment-processing fees

Tax and fees depend on the payment method and how the transaction is processed.

  • Office bank transfer, card and PayPal payments may require 10% VAT.
  • Card or PayPal payments may also include approximately 3–4% processing fees.
  • International currency conversion or intermediary bank fees may create additional cost.
  • Cash payment conditions must follow the written quotation and applicable transaction arrangement.

How to receive an accurate written quote

  1. Send the exact service dates, pickup times, all stops and final finish times.
  2. Provide passenger count, luggage quantity and special equipment.
  3. State the preferred vehicle, guide requirement and payment method.
  4. Review the inclusions, exclusions, cancellation conditions and deposit deadline before payment.

Charter bus pricing questions

Are the rates on this page guaranteed?

No. They are general reference figures. The final price depends on the actual date, vehicle availability, itinerary, operating time and additional expenses.

Is VAT included in the quoted price?

The quotation should state whether VAT is included or additional. Office, card and PayPal transactions commonly require 10% VAT.

Why is the airport price different for the same vehicle?

The terminal, destination, waiting time, luggage, pickup hour and whether additional service is included can change the price.

When does overtime begin?

Overtime begins after the operating hours or finish time stated in the quotation, subject to the agreed itinerary.

Can we pay the balance to the driver?

Some bookings allow Korean won cash payment to the driver. The exact method must be written in the quotation or contract.

Are parking and tolls always included?

No. They may be included, estimated or settled at actual cost. Check the written quotation.

Why do multi-day trips require driver accommodation?

When the vehicle finishes far from the operating base, the driver must stay near the group to provide the next day’s service safely and legally.

Can the price change after booking?

The confirmed price normally applies to the agreed itinerary. Added stops, extended hours, route changes or unexpected operating costs may create additional charges.

Is a cheaper smaller vehicle always better?

No. A smaller vehicle may not have enough fixed seats or luggage capacity and can create safety or comfort problems.

How much deposit is required?

The deposit varies by booking. Common cases use a percentage of the total or a fixed amount per vehicle and day.
